Rubik's Cube
I've been speedcubing since 2012. I find the algorithmic thinking and muscle memory aspects fascinating - it's problem solving distilled to pure pattern recognition.

Table Tennis
Carnegie Mellon University team player. Led IITGN’s team from my first year, representing the institute at Inter IIT 2018 (IIT Guwahati, group stage) and 2019 (IIT Bhubaneswar, QF vs IIT Roorkee). Served as Table Tennis Secretary (2019–20), launched IITGN’s first Table Tennis League (IITL) with 100+ participants across 6 teams, and managed budgeting, infrastructure, and events.
Writing
I write to clarify my thinking and help others navigate paths I've walked. My Medium blog has reached 41K+ readers with guides on graduate admissions, research internships, and standardized tests. I also served as Chief Editor of Torque, IIT Gandhinagar's technical magazine.
Instruments
Got into playing the piano recently. Trained in carnatic Indian keyboard as a kid, but was always into classical western.
